Robert Catton

I’m Rob and I’ve just joined Hive Projects and i’m looking forward to working on some of our new projects in Leeds & Bradford.

I call Leeds home, where I live with my partner, and our 11-year-old son, who keeps me on my toes. On weekends we share our love for aviation by piloting RC model airplanes over Huddersfield, making memories in the skies.

When I’m not up in the air, I’m overseeing construction programmes predominantly in the healthcare sector, where I feel a strong sense of purpose, contributing to the well-being of our community. I thrive on the challenges that come with working in hospitals, always striving to overcome them.

One of my proudest achievements is managing a significant £10 million decarbonisation project as the Capital Project Manager at St. James Hospital. This complex initiative involved de-steaming 11 buildings on the hospital campus and establishing a new Low-Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) network in collaboration with Leeds City Council. This project not only showcased my leadership and project management skills but also reflected my commitment to sustainable, environmentally-friendly healthcare practices.
