Inspiring the Next Generation: Hive Projects and Contractors Host Student Site Tour at £20m Marple Community Hub

We are proud to share that Hive Projects has been shortlisted for two categories at the upcoming North West Regional Construction Awards (NWRCA) 2026!

With the awards ceremony taking place this week, our team is thrilled to be recognised as finalists for both the People and Culture Award and SME of the Year.

SME of the Year: A Milestone of Sustainable Growth Being shortlisted for SME of the Year is a fantastic acknowledgement of our ongoing growth and the impactful work we deliver across the region. In the six years since Hive was founded, we have grown to a team of nearly 40 employees operating across three northern regions.

This shortlisting further validates our belief that an SME can deliver top-tier project management services while remaining fiercely dedicated to ethical practices and sustainable growth.

People and Culture Award: Putting Our Team First Building a workplace where everyone feels valued, empowered, and supported is at the core of our business, and how we were founded. This year, we’ve been thrilled to see that our teams continue to love working at Hive projects and think our culture and ethics is outstanding- via our employee survey.

We have consistently worked to ensure our workplace champions fairness, respect, and opportunity. This shortlisting for the People and Culture Award sits proudly alongside our recent achievements, including completing the Disability Confident Leader assessment, earning Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter status, our acceptance to Liverpool City Region Fair Employers’ charter, and proudly reaffirning our Real Living Wage recognition.

A massive congratulations to all the other finalists across the region. It is brilliant to see so many outstanding organisations championing excellence in the North West’s built environment. We look forward to celebrating with you all later this week!
