Bootle High School Site

PROJECT Overview

About the Project

Hive Projects were appointed by Sandway Homes and Sefton Council to provide Employer’s Agent services for pre-development works on the former Bootle High School site in Bootle, Merseyside. The scheme, funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, intended to deliver 63 new homes as part of a wider regeneration initiative. Our role, carried out up to RIBA Stage 3, focused on discharging planning conditions and delivering key outputs defined within the Grant Funding Agreement. A core objective was to prepare and submit a detailed application for Brownfield Land Funding to support the development phase. This project contributes to the levelling-up agenda by transforming a disused brownfield site into a vibrant residential community. Through close collaboration with stakeholders, we ensured the scheme progressed efficiently, aligning with funding requirements and strategic housing goals.
