We are incredibly proud to announce that our Senior Project Manager, Pete Flint, has taken home a prestigious Place Award at the recent Place Directorate Awards in Oldham!

Pete was recognised for his outstanding dedication and pivotal work with our client, Oldham Council. This fantastic achievement highlights not only Pete’s professional expertise but also his commitment to the core values we champion here at Hive Projects.

Hive Projects is currently acting as Project Manager for the multi-phase redevelopment of Oldham Town Centre. Working in close partnership with Oldham Council, we are overseeing the delivery of the “Creating a Better Place” strategy; a regeneration programme designed to reshape the borough’s economic and residential landscape.

A major component of this regeneration is the redevelopment of the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre. We are helping to reimagine the dated retail space into a sustainable, multi functional civic and cultural hub that includes new modern offices, co-working facilities, and an archive centre.

At Hive Projects, we believe that people deliver projects, not just processes. Pete truly embodies this ethos. He consistently makes the time to help out the wider project teams, both internally and alongside our delivery partners at Oldham Council. It is this genuine willingness to step up, share his extensive expertise, and keep project logistics moving smoothly that makes this award so thoroughly deserved.
