Project Overview

The provision of Project Management services for the construction of a new Christie cancer centre at Macclesfield Hospital site.  This new Christie facility will provide patients with world class cancer treatment closer to the local area which is proven to enhance clinical outcomes.  The new building will provide radiotherapy, 18 new chemotherapy chairs, complementary therapy services and also outpatients services.  Enabling works are complete and construction is due to commence Summer 2020 with completion due Winter 2021!

  • Project Management through RIBA design stages 2 to 4 including leading main contractor tender process
  • Management of enabling works including demolition of existing healthcare building to clear the site
  • User engagement across two healthcare sites, the Christie and East Cheshire Trust
  • Integration and management of the specialist equipment design and procurement process.
