We’re happy to announce that we have officially been awarded accreditation as a Greater Manchester Good Employer; part of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
This is awarded to employers who meet the highest standards of fair pay, working conditions, and employee wellbeing. As a values-led organisation, we are proud to be part of this movement that promotes an inclusive, supportive, and ethical workplace for everyone.
The Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter is a commitment to creating better, fairer, and more inclusive workplaces. It sets out a framework of principles that encourage businesses to ensure that their employees are treated fairly and given opportunities. These principles cover a wide range of areas, from fair pay and flexible working to employee wellbeing and support for career development.
Becoming a Greater Manchester Good Employer involved a rigorous and thorough process, which required us to assess and reflect on our workplace practices. The process was similar in length and complexity to our previous B Corp accreditation, involving a detailed examination of areas such as: Employee engagement and wellbeing, Fair pay and benefits, Training and development opportunities, and Inclusivity and diversity policies
We were carefully evaluated to ensure we meet the Charter’s high standards. We worked closely with the team at the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, providing evidence of our practices and how we demonstrate our commitment to being a responsible and forward-thinking employer.
Being part of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter is more than just a badge of recognition: It’s a reflection of the values we uphold every day at Hive Projects.
This accreditation also highlights the ongoing dedication of our team to display our values and continuously work together to create a better workplace culture for all. Motivating us to keep pushing forward and making sure we maintain high standards in everything we do. We are excited to continue collaborating with like-minded businesses and organisations that are committed to creating fairer, more inclusive work environments across Greater Manchester.
